OK, so what are the design changes that are going to improve my Semi-Western forehand so much?
First, you have to be able to find the SW grip. By increasing the size of bevel 4 (See the graphic above.) finding the SW grip is quick and easy. All you have to do is place the knuckle on the base of your index finger on this bevel. Your index finger and thumb lock in the top of the grip.
Second, the the power v will notch/lock the bottom of the handle in your hand. Look at the photo above. See how the pvg locks under the base of the thumb. This not only helps in positioning your hand for the Semi-Western grip, it adds tremendous stability .
